Common problems and solutions
The app won't launch
It's likely launched, but the icon may be hidden due to a crowded menu bar. Try removing some of the other icons to check.
It doesn't have bookmarking
You can use your current bookmarking tool and just prepend tubist://play? to the YouTube URL.
Can Tubist be automated?
Tubist has support for Apple Shortcuts, launch arguments, and a custom URL scheme (see above). Additionally, you can have Claude control it via Tubist MCP Server.
