Easiest way to keep on top of your training shoes' total mileage.

Just pair them up with workouts you've recorded in Apple Health.

Common problems and solutions

How do I hide certain workout types?

You can't yet, but that feature is coming in a future update.

How do I add some past miles to my shoes

When you tap Select in the Workouts tab, there is a handy tool for filtering past Workouts. You can then select multiple (or all) and assign them to your shoes.

Alternatively, you can tap "Starting distance" at the bottom of the shoe screen.

How do I add treadmill miles when I'm not wearing my watch

Open Health app, Activity > Workouts. Tap Add Data and punch in your treadmill miles. That new workout should show up in Workout Shoes, and you can assign it to your shoes.

Where can I see my shoes' health?

No one can determine how many miles/kilometers your particular shoe model can endure with your weight, gait and surfaces you traverse. Don't worry about shoe health and get those workouts in.

How can I transfer my data to a new iPhone?

Your data is synced to your iCloud, and will sync back to your new device when you log in with the same iCloud account.
